BUNN - Kimble Pearce, 75, of Land Farm, 6413 Pearces Road, Louisburg, NC 27549 went peacefully to his Lord and maker early Thursday morning. Kimble was a son of the late Dollie and Kate Pearce of Franklin County.

Kimble was a loyal member of Bunn Baptist Church. After attending Bunn High School, he served his country in the US Navy from 1951-1955. He married June Land of Bunn in 1954 and they had three sons, Kim, Guy and Joe, and one daughter, Kay. He retired from the US Postal Service in 1995.

Kimble was an avid outdoor sportsman and enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and camping with his family and rarely missed a grandchild’s sporting event.

The family wishes to acknowledge the care and support of Dr. Richard Adelman and his office staff for their care and support.

Kimble is survived by his wife June of fifty-four years; sons, Kim (Karen), Guy, Joe (Katie); daughter Kay (Richard); grandchildren, Dana (Chris), Katie, Sam, Joshua, Jessica, Jonathan, Julia; great-grandson, Pearce; brothers, Maynard and Phillip; and sisters, Eleanor, Roberta and Faye.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 7th, at Bunn Baptist Church, 205 E. Jewett Avenue, Bunn, NC. Visitation will precede the service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Gravesite burial service will be held at the family farm cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bunn Baptist Church New Vision Building Fund.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
