CASTALIA - Funeral services for James “Mike” Wardrick, 52, who died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. at Spalding Rescue Center Auditorium, with Minister Christopher Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.
FRANKLINTON —Joseph Earl Massenburg, 79, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 14, at First Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. André Johnson officiating. Interment followed in the Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, Franklinton.
FRANKLINTON - Mary Dorothy Laws Blacknall, 82, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 15, at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
