FRANKLINTON—Funeral services for Jessie “Big Baby” Perry, 81, who died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Kinches Chapel Christian Church, with the Rev. Willie R. Nixon III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
LOUISBURG - Willie David Strickland, 89, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at Wake Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at Rock Spring Baptist Church with the Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
