LOUISBURG -- Franklin County sheriff's deputies are investigating its second homicide in a week.
The morning of Dec. 24, authorities found the body of Tarboro resident Anthony Bernard Howard, 28, in a wooded area near the Nash County line.
No arrest has been made.
During the early morning hours of Dec. 29, sheriff's deputies responded to an assisted living facility on E.F. Cottrell Road to find Elouise Collier, 88, dead.
