LOUISBURG--James Harold Harper, 95, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Franklin Oaks. The family will receive friends Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Jon Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
LOUISBURG--Sharon Lou Bobbitt Fitts, 63, of Louisburg transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday March 8, 2020 at her home. She was born on July 9, 1956 to the late Eugene R. and Lucille Abbott Bobbitt. Sharon loved her family dearly; she enjoyed crafting, bird watching and plants. She also liked to email others who suffered with FOP as she did.
