“The Business Side of Art-Keeping it Simple”
has been rescheduled for February 21st-1-4PM at FCAC headquarters 22 S. Main St., Franklinton, NC. A three-hour seminar/workshop on the business side of art. $40/members, $45 non-members. Instructor Theresa Brown, and her husband Stephen Filarsky, make their art their living. “Every one of our bills are paid entirely from the sales of our art products. We make a living with our art without art degrees, or support from working spouses, pension funds, tenure, marketing agents, social security checks, retirement funds, lottery wins, art galleries or rich relatives.” Take the workshop to learn the secrets to their success. Hand Building Pottery Workshop
Hand Building Pottery Workshop – February 28 Part One 1-3PM, and March 21, 2015 Part Two 1-3PM. Instructor Leslie Martin. Participants will be taught to hand build two pieces of pottery in part one of the workshop. The pieces will then be bisque fired and ready to glaze at Part 2 of the workshop. They will then be glaze fired and ready to pick up between March 14 and April 4. $30 for FCAC members, $40 non-members plus $10/person for materials. Limited 12 for the two-part workshop.
