ZEBULON - Jackie “Jack” Cope, 36, died Monday, May 4, 2009. Memorial services were conducted Thursday, May 7, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Davis officiating. A private burial followed in the church cemetery.
He was born in Sylva and was employed in construction.
Surviving: his wife, Maggie Cope; children, Jeremy Cope and Jacob Cope; parents, Jody and Ed Pate of Youngsville; sisters, Tracy P. Vandupter of Middlesex and Tona Whitley of Wendell; brother, Eddie Pate of Kenly; numerous nieces and nephews.
