LOUISBURG – Ruth Louise “Ruthie” Harris, 80, died Saturday morning, June 12, 2010 at her home. A graveside service was held Monday at Lancaster Memorial Park.
She was a daughter of the late Dick and Laura T. Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Surviving: husband, Jimmy C. Harris; daughters, Beverly Wheeler (Wayne) of Louisburg, Evonne Hedgepeth and husband Andy McMillan of Seattle, Wash., Darlene Pierce (Steve) of Ashland, Va.; sister, Mae Glenn Everett of Emporia, Va.; brothers, Tom Harris of Norfolk, Va., Cleveland Harris of Daytona Beach, Fla., Linwood Harris of Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
