CARY – Sterling Dorsey, 50, of 105 Ralph Dr., died Sunday night. He was a member of Capital Community Church and a mechanic in the HVAC industry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie Mae Dorsey.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at White Level Baptist Church in Louisburg, NC. Burial will follow in the Dorsey Family Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Dorsey; his father, Sherman B. Dorsey; brother, Stuart B. Dorsey of Louisburg, NC; and a sister, Amy Darlene Dorsey of Portsmouth, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritans Purse-Operation Christmas Child, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607
The family will receive friends, Nov. 10, Wednesday night, from 7:00-8:30 at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, NC.
