BOYDTON, Va. - Ernest Holt Weaver, Jr., 69, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 in Community Memorial Healthcenter. A memorial service will be conducted today (Saturday, June 25) at 11:00 a.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church in Palmer Springs, Va., with American Legion Military Honors.
He served eight years in the Air Force and retired from the U. S. Navy.
Surviving: wife, Bobbie Lloyd Weaver; daughter, Jo Andrea W. Lawrence, and son, Ernest H. “Bevo” Weaver, both of Goldsboro; sister, Donna W. Robertson of Kinston; brother, John F. Weaver of Louisburg; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Ernest H. “Bevo” Weaver; mother, Frances Griffin Weaver Foster, and stepfather Wade H. Foster.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church, 1614 Buggs Island Road, Boydton, VA 23917.
