FRANKLINTON – Viola F. Ledford, 56, of Franklinton, died Thursday morning.
Viola was a daughter of the late Richard and Kate Walpole. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Jean Bonini; sister, Margaret Galvin; brothers, Richard Dodgins and Clarence Gaddis.
Viola was a wonderful mother and provider as well as a father figure to her children.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Viola is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Mary Baker; Ann and Eric Dohnert; sons and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Melanie Bonini; Christopher Bonini, all of Franklinton; Heath Wilson of Dayton, KY; sister, Linda Harris of Lake Wylie, SC; 7 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6 – 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
