DURHAM - The Rev. Mark Joyner, 49, of Creedmoor died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at Durham Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Christian Faith Center, 100 S. Peachtree St., Creedmoor, with Pastor Brenda Timberlake officiating. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
He was a 1975 graduate of Franklinton High School. He attended St. Augustine’s College and was employed as minister of music at Christian Faith Center.
Surviving: his wife, Sandra W. Joyner; daughters, Marquel Joyner and Celestae Bailey; his mother, Gladys B. Joyner; one brother, Donald Joyner; and two sisters, Cheryl J. Roberts and Angela J. Perry.
