FRANKLINTON — Weldon Baysmore Gaskill, 86, formerly of Norfolk, passed away Tuesday morning, March 19, 2013. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 22, at 2 p.m. at the Gaskill family cemetery in Frisco, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolan and Anges Quidley Gaskill; stepmother, Alma Gaskill; brothers, Dolan Gaskill, Jr. and Harry Gaskill. He was born in Dare County, He was a WWII veteran and a retired long-shoreman.
Surviving: daughter, Debbie Trotman (Steve) of Virginia; son, Donald Gaskill (Irma) of Texas; sister, Sallie Valentine of Franklinton; and three grandchildren.
