CASTALIA – George Jerome Brokenshire, 88, of Castalia, died Monday evening, April 11, 2014.
George was a son of the late Leon and Daisy Brokenshire. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Brokenshire; sister, Thelma Brokenshire and brother, Sam Brokenshire. He was a WWII Navy Veteran.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
George is survived by his daughter, Gail M. Brown of Castalia; sons George (Rosa) Brokenshire of Mesa, Ariz; David (Kim) Brokenshire of Springtown, Texas; brother, Leon Brokenshire of Dallas, Pa; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
