BUNN - Harold Lucious Exley, Sr., 84, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Nash General Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, April 19, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harry Upchurch officiating. Burial was in the Wake Forest Cemetery.
He was born in Canton, Ohio, the son of the late Roxy Boocks Exley and John Exley. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard.
Surviving: his children and their families, Dianna Black, Susan Welch, Kimberly Griffin, Harold L. Exley Jr., Danny Exley, Terry Exley, Jeffrey Exley and Gregory Exley; brother, Oliver Exley of Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
