LITTLETON, NC-Funeral services for Nelson "Nell" Person, Sr., age 95, who died on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, with Rev. Wilson Battle, officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Chapel Church Cemetery.
He is survived by five daughters, Rosella Cox (Alejandro) of Littleton, Lenora Battle of Roanoke Rapids, Mary Conyers (James), Pattie Anderson (Joe) and Brenda Person, all of Enfield; two sons, Nelson "June" Person, Jr. of Hollister, Frank Person of Whitakers; two sisters, Ella Ferguson of Baltimore, MD, Verty Lynch of Hollister; 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
