YOUNGSVILLE --Jerry Ronald Early, 71, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 10, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Aug. 13, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Cottrell officiating. Burial was in the Wake Crossroads Baptist Church cemetery.
He was born in Buncombe County, the son of the late Rosa Lavena Norman Early and Dwight Gladstone Early.
Surviving: wife, Mary Alice Jones Early; his children, Alice Faye Early, Lois Ann Simpson, Linda Jean Learn and Jerry Ronald Early Jr.; sisters, Lillie Fite and Nancy Worley; brothers, Donald Early and Richard Early; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
