LOUISBURG - Jason Wayne Morgan, 33, of Louisburg, died Saturday morning at his home.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, James Garland Morgan; paternal grandparents, Albert Fred and Dessie Reece Morgan; maternal grandfather, Robert Wells Dement; aunt, Molly Dement. He was an Army veteran and had served one tour in Iraq.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Centerville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Jason is survived by his mother, Rebecca D. Morgan; stepmother, Joan Morgan; his maternal grandmother, Ruby M. Dement; uncle, Doyce Dement (Barbara); aunt, Denese Turner (Butch); numerous cousins; his close companion, Diesel.
