RICHMOND, Va.-- Funeral services for Edward Lee "Red" Richardson, 67, of Richmond, Va., formerly of Louisburg, who died Sunday, April 2, 2017, will be held Saturday, April 8, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.
Surviving: daughters, Mateshia T. Wright (Andre) of Richmond, Va., Marquita T. Smith of Las Vegas, Nev., Quintasha S. Pollard of Denver, Colo.; sons, David L. Anderson of Richmond, Va., Terry N. Richardson (Tanya) of Charlottesville, Va., Edward Lee Pollard of Richmond, Va., Quinton L. Pollard (Tiffany) and Christopher L. Pollard, both of Chesterfield, Va.; sisters, Mamie Richardson (Zollie) and Cherry Ann Avent (Orris), both of Hollister, Elaine Lynch of Rocky Mount; brothers, McArthur Richardson (Helen) of Roper, Roscoe Richardson (Lula Bell), Tony Richardson (Mattie), Nathaniel "Pete" Richardson (Pat) and Kirkland M Richardson (Niecey), all of Hollister; and 18 grandchildren.
There will be open visitation Friday afternoon from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
