FRANKLINTON--E D Wood, 78, of Franklinton died August 28, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1939 to the late Ernest and Betty Collins Wood.
E D was a lifelong resident of Franklinton. He enjoyed fishing, and loved to stay busy. E D loved his children, grandchildren, and his sisters and brother.
E D is survived by his son, Chris Wood; his daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Kevin Lintz; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kyler Lintz; sisters, Lora Patterson, Betty Baker, and Velma Wilson; and a brother, Joe Wood.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 East Mason St., Franklinton, NC 27525, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Steve Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
