FRANKLINTON --Carolyn Lomax Willis, 72, died Tuesday evening, Oct. 16, 2018. A funeral mass will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass.

She was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Terri M. Lomax.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bruce Willis.

She was a founding member of Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving: daughters, Lisa Matzner of Bunn; Pamela (Will) Persinger of Wake Forest; Dawn (P-Nut) Shearin of Louisburg; Gail Willis of Franklinton; Korri (Ernest) Eason of Youngsville; sisters, Angela (David) Matos of Old Fort; Katrina Lomax of Brentwood, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
