CASTALIA--Funeral services for Earnest R. Richardson, 69, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018, will be held Sunday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister, with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: his wife, Dencie Silver Richardson of the home; daughters, Sandy Richardson of the home, Kimberly Richardson-Battle (Craig) of Castalia; sons, Anthony Silver and Rufus Richardson (LaKesha), all of Louisburg; sisters, Anna Alexander (Warren) of Baltimore, Md., Mary L. Richardson of Rocky Mount; brothers, Bonnie and Mark Richardson, both of Castalia; and seven grandchildren.

Open visitation will be Saturday from 3 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
