FRANKLINTON--Maurice Lee Hock, 76, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Laura Hock; his brother Roy Hock; stepdaughter Linda Waiden; and one grandson. He was an employee of Ace Hardware in Louisburg.
Surviving: wife, Alice; stepdaughters, Janice Peoples and Pam Wood of the home; stepson, Ricky Wood (Garlene) of Spring Hope; sons, Todd Hock (Karen) of Kittrel and David Hock of Kittrel; brothers, Conrad Hock of Kittrel and Earl Hock of Albemarle; sister, Rose Tart of Kittrel; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 - 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. |
