LOUISBURG--Funeral services for John Louis "Mr. Fly" Alston, 74, who died Friday, March 20, 2020, will be held Saturday, March 28, at 11 a.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg. Entombment will follow in the Perry's Missionary Church cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Thomasina Brodie of Raleigh; sister, Jennie Ann Alston-Carter of New York, NY; and one grandson.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
