LOUISBURG--Funeral services for James Davis Sr., 77, who died Wednesday, July 22, 2020, will be held Sunday, July 26, at 2 p.m. in the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg, with the Rev. Thelma McClean officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Church cemetery.
Surviving: wife, Louise Davis of the home; daughter, Bernecia Davis of Henderson; son, James Davis Jr. (Brenda) of Knightdale; sisters, Daisy Solomon of Laurel, MD, Essie Elcock (Victor) of Wake Forest; brothers, John, Julius and Clement Davis, all of Louisburg; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
