MILTON OTHA WILLIAMS

ZEBULON--Milton Otha Williams, 87, of the Pilot Community passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Milton was born in Nash County on July 27, 1933 to the late Elbert Williams and Lillie Bryant Williams. He retired with 42 years of service from CSX Railroad and was a member of Pilot Baptist Church. Milton loved his family, gardening and keeping his yard pristine.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Pilot Baptist Church, with Reverend Shelby Stephens officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the church service. A private entombment service will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 11, 2021.

Milton is survived by his wife of 64 years, Florence Stallings Williams; son, Chet Milton Williams (Susan); grandchildren: Emily W. Creech (Caleb), Mitchell Chet Williams, Braden Addison Williams; great-grandchildren: Walker Roy Creech, Logan Elliette Creech; brothers: Wiley Alvin Williams, Paul Williams (Betty Lou), and Curtis Williams (Johnnie).

In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by his beloved son, Brad Elliott Williams in 1999; sister, Libbie W. Camelio; brothers: Kelly Williams and Cameron Williams; and stepfather Lawrence Massey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T Kemp Rd, Louisburg, NC 27549 or Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
