FREDERICK E. TUCKER

ZEBULON, NC--Frederick E. Tucker, 84, of Zebulon, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at WakeMed. He was born January 13, 1937 in Franklin County, the youngest child of the late Otha and Betty (Hale) Tucker. He was predeceased by all five of his siblings.

Fred served in the U.S. Navy and worked many years as a saw mill operator. He was an avid golfer and a pool player. Fred and Mary Helen enjoyed watching their grandchildren participating in anything they loved to do.

He is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Mary Helen Tucker, his two daughters: Karen Horton, and her husband, Tony and Kelli Timberlake and her husband Daryl; and three grandchildren: Paige, Dylan and Mason.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC 27549. Interment will follow at Maple Springs Baptist Church.
