HOLLISTER, NC -- Funeral services for Rev. William "Bill" Evans, age 79, who died on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021 from the White Rock Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Alonzo West officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Family Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Salisia Ellerbe (Robin) of Honolulu, HI, Samaria Evans of Raleigh, NC; one son, Mitchell Evans (Monica) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; three sisters, Betty Bond (Jimmy) of Chesapeake, VA, Carolyn Richardson of Hampton, VA, Ruby Evans of Rocky Mount, NC; three brothers, Jaycee Evans (Faye) and Bryant Evans, both of Rocky Mount, NC, Charles Evans of Newport News, VA; and four grandchildren.
Viewing will be Saturday afternoon from 12 until 2 p.m. at White Rock Baptist Church in Hollister.
