MICHAEL LEE JORDAN
October 27, 1957 - April 5, 2021

Michael "Mike" Lee Jordan, transitioned into eternal rest on Monday April 5, 2021 at his home in Safety Harbor, Florida. He was born October 27, 1957 in Kentucky. He grew up in Louisburg, North Carolina and was the son of the late Louis and Joyce Jordan, also of Louisburg, North Carolina. Along with his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, Louis Neal Jordan, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Jordan, his children: Christie Lee Jordan, Amy Pendleton, Michelle Curry (Brad), and stepdaughter, Shauna Fleischbein (Greg); his grandchildren: Katlyn Hoyle (Toby), Abigail Clark, Justin Pendleton, Brayden Curry, and step-granddaughter, Harper Fleischbein; siblings: Vincent Jordan, & Marie Harper, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.

Michael "Mike" Jordan loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed fishing at Santee Cooper Lake with his late father, Louis Jordan, as well as with his siblings, Vincent Jordan, Marie Harper, & the late Louis Neal Jordan, Jr. He also enjoyed helping his neighbors in his community in Safety Harbor. You could find him cutting his neighbor's grass, raking leaves, cleaning out their gutters, or anything else that his neighbors needed.

Michael chose to donate his body to United Tissue Network. He had a lot of health issues and said that if the doctors could use his body to possibly help others in the future, then he wanted to do just that.

We will have a Memorial on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at South Main Baptist Chapel located at 601 S. Main St., Wake Forest, NC. We welcome everyone that knew Michael "Mike" Lee Jordan to come and celebrate his life.
