FRANKLINTON -- Daisy Newton Abbott passed away on June 12, 2021. She was born February 8, 1953 to the late Howard and Annie Hailey Newton.

She is survived by her husband, Ted H. Abbott; her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Crystal Abbott; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; her brother, Charlie Newton; stepsister, Brenda Ferrell; and four nieces.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with Revs. Carl Hunter and Spencer Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
