William C. Murphy, 54, of Louisburg, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was born on September 26, 1966 in Nash County, a son of Glenn and Sue (Parrish) Murphy. He was predeceased by his mother, Sue and his sister, Scarlet Durham.

Will had a love for the game of baseball, traveling to the beach to relax with his family, and fixing up old cars. His greatest accomplishment was his children.

Will is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mary Murphy; his children: Jake Murphy, Cam Murphy, Chance Murphy; his father, Glenn Murphy, and his sisters: Ginger Vicars, and Lisa Matthews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday July 24, 2021 at Lighthouse Church in Louisburg from 1 until 2 p.m. A service will begin at 2 p.m. Will requested everyone dress in casual / ball game attire.
