FRANKLINTON, NC -- Funeral services for Sherman "Cannon Ball" Cannady, age 63, who died on Friday, July 22, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Elder Sylvester Cooke officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.
He is survived by one daughter, Nakesha Eaton (Ty) of Youngsville, NC; two sons, Christopher Ruffin (Britney) of Raleigh, NC, Sherman Calvin Cannady, Jr. of Wake Forest, NC; six sisters, Carrie Gupton and Annie Mae Bumpers, both of Franklinton, NC, Shirley McKnight of Perth Amboy, NJ, Laura Foster of Raleigh, NC, Ailen Cannady of Franklinton, NC, Stacey Cannady of Durham, NC; three brothers, Charlie Cannady (Cynthia) of Franklinton, NC, Arthur Cannady of Wake Forest, NC, Steve Cannady of Franklinton, NC; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1 until 2 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg, NC. |
