LOUISBURG, NC -- Funeral services for Walter L. Hayes, age 72, who died on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Linwood Hedgepeth (Lucretia) of Bailey, NC, Earl Hayes of Louisburg, NC; four sisters, Dorothy Miles (James), Margaret Ann Anderson, Joanna Hayes and Mary Elizabeth Hayes, all of Louisburg, NC; four brothers, Nathaniel Hayes of Louisburg, NC, Melvin Hayes of Durham, NC, Dennis Hayes of Petersburg, VA, Harold Hayes (Rhonda) of Wake Forest, NC; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
