LOUISBURG, NC -- Funeral services for Bettie Ruth Holden, age 101, who died on Thursday, September 30, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Haywood Church Cemetery.
She is survived by five daughters, Mattie M. Bryant of Louisburg, NC, Edna Ashley (Howard) of Brooklyn, NY, Lucy M. Holden of the home, Betty O. Paronie of Louisburg, NC, Bertha L. Holden of Brooklyn, NY; five sons, JayCee D. Holden and George T. Holden, both of Louisburg, NC, John E. Holden (Carolyn) of Franklinton, NC, Waverly Holden and Phillip Holden (Tina), both of Louisburg, NC; one sister, Gracie M. Branch of Louisburg, NC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, Oct. 6, from 5 until 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
