LOUISBURG, NC -- Heather Marie Thornton, 31, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Henderson. She was born on June 24, 1990 in Nash County, a daughter of Curtis Alley Jr, and Frankie (Vaughan) Matthews. Heather was predeceased by a sister, Denver Alley, grandfather, TW Vaughan Jr, cousin, Brittany Vaughan and aunt, Janice Vaughan Brooks.
Along with her parents, Heather is survived by her husband, Wade Thornton Jr.; daughters Hannah Brooks, Hollie Thornton, Emma Thornton, Payshintz Hooser; step-son, Waylon Thornton; brothers Curtis Alley III (Emily) and Dakota Alley.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lancaster Memorial Park 2210 Hwy 561 Louisburg. The family will receive family and friends back at Heather's mother's house after the service (Frankie Matthews) 656 Julian Smith Rd. Henderson, NC, 27537.
