HOLLISTER, NC -- Funeral services for Bessie Louise Rice, age 86, who died on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from the Trinity Baptist Church in Hollister with Pastor Al L. Copper officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Church Cemetery.

She is survived by five daughters, Mary Florence (Michael) of Lincolnton, NC, Meme Neddo (Jon) of Durham, NC, Helen Drisdell and Elizabeth Rice, both of St. Louis, MO, Bessie Kay Richardson of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sons, Lance Rice of Fredericksburg, VA, James Wilburn Rice of Pine Bluff, AK; three sisters, Kathleen Davis of Hollister, NC, Velma Mills (Charlie) of Whitakers, NC, Hazel Silver (Jimmie) of Hollister, NC; two brothers, Dennis Davis (Suzie) of Biloxi, MS, Melvin Davis (Cynthia) of Hollister, NC; nineteen grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
