BETTY GRACE HUFF STRICKLAND

FRANKLINTON, NC--Betty Grace Huff Strickland, 67, of Franklinton went home on Monday, November 1, 2021. Betty was born on January 24, 1954 to the late John and Daszerlean Morton Huff. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by a son Dwaine Strickland.

Betty is survived by her husband Rev. Spencer Strickland; her son, Chad Strickland (Angela); her daughter, Kindell Hurt (Michael); grandchildren, Brent Strickland, Breck Scarberry (Ashley), Brice Strickland (Sarah), Amanda Strickland, Myles Hurt, Malcom Hurt, Manning Hurt, and Macon Hurt ; great-grandchildren, Raylan Strickland and Harper Scarberry ; her sisters, Sandra Godfrey, Tammie Ball, and Mary Ann Ball; her brother, James Huff ; and her sister-in-law, Jean Hall.

Betty was a faithful wife and mother; she would never turn her back on a person in need. She loved her kids, grandkids, sisters, her brother, and her animals.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Mt Olivet Baptist Church, 1245 Mt. Olivet Church Rd. Franklinton, NC 27525, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.
