FRANKLINTON, NC -- Gwendolyn (Gwen) Elizabeth Perry Holden 75, Franklinton, the daughter of the late Carlton and Mary Perry of Franklin County, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16 in Raleigh, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe McArthur Holden and by all of her siblings, Gladys, Margaret, Hattie, Charles, Katie, Dora V, and John.

She is survived by her twin sons, Alvin Bertrand Holden of Franklinton and Kelvin Bernard Holden of the home, three grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.

Funeral services will be at 12 noon Thursday Dec. 23 at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville followed by interment in Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton. The Rev. Andre' L. Johnson will be eulogist. and Rev. Steven Wade, pastor of Faith Baptist Church and Rev. Jeanette Pender Powell will officiate.
