FRANKLINTON - Merlin C. Jones, 81, of Franklinton passed away July 21, 2022. He was born on January 8, 1941 to the late Henry and Sallie Jones.
He was preceded in death by one son, Daryl Jones; siblings, Charles, Clinton, Morris, Garret, Mabel, and his twin brother Melvin.
He is survived by his children, G. Annette Robinson (Clyde), Ronald Jones (Subrina), B. Dean Jones, Paula Spruill, Stacey D. Hester, and Rodney McInnis (Shawn); siblings, Susie M. Elliott (John), Samuel Jones (Fanny), James Robert Jones, Helen Kearney (Burley), and Sallie E. Jones; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Eulogistic services were held Thursday, July 28, at Cutchins Family Mortuary & Cremation Chapel at 1 p.m with the Elder Frank L. Williams officiating.
