LOUISBURG, NC-- Alton Wade Shearin, 66, of Louisburg died Monday, August 22, 2022 at UNC Rex Healthcare. Born on July 29, 1956 to Shirley Griffin Shearin and the late Bobby Bruce Shearin. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Beth Woolard.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, August 27 at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel with Reverend Doug Moore officiating.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Shearin, step-daughters, Mandy Stanley and Samantha Taylor; his siblings, Barry Shearin (Helen), Chuck Shearin, Debbie Carter, Mark "P-Nut" Shearin (Dawn), Ken Shearin and Amy Leonard (Jr.); six grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
