Pauline Smith Holmes

FRANKLINTON, NC--Pauline Smith Holmes, 89, of Franklinton died Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was born April 13, 1933 in Roxboro, NC. She was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Smith and sisters, Irene Smith and Rachel Whitt.

A graveside funeral service was held at 12 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest. Rev. Dick Graves officiated.

She is survived by her husband, James "Pete" Holmes; daughters, Susan Stover of Wake Forest and Sandra Eder and husband Edward of Honolulu, HI; four grandchildren, brother-in-law, Clifton Whitt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Masonic Home for Children 600 College Street Oxford, NC 27565.
