Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Carey Alton Thorne, age 78, who died on Monday, November 7, 2022, will be held 12 p.m., Thursday, November 10, from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mary Helen Jones Cemetery.
He was born October 28, 1944.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Coley Thorne of the home; one daughter, Joann Yancey (Oliver) of Louisburg; three brothers, Martin Thorne (Mattie) of Louisburg, NC, Clarence Merle Thorne and Larry Thorne, both of Castalia, NC; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday morning from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
