LOUISBURG, NC--Janet Whitley Phelan, 63, of Louisburg, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at her home.
She was born October 9, 1959.
Janet is survived by her husband of 19 years, Charles Davit Phelan; daughters, Tiffany (Berry) Hofeling, Tara (Nick) Carson; mother, Mattie Pearce Whitley; step-children, Kimberly Phelan, Robert Phelan and Andrew Phelan; sister, Joyce Stallings; brothers, David (Lynn) Whitley, D.L. (Wanda) Whitley, Jerry Whitley and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Whitley.
A graveside funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 1581 Bethlehem Church Road, Youngsville, NC. The family received friends at the church from 1-1:45 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
