LOUISBURG, NC--Joseph Bernard Daniel, 67, of Louisburg passed away on November 20, 2022. He was born on January 28, 1955 to Gladys Thompson Daniel and the late Forrest S. Daniel, Jr.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his siblings, Steve Daniel (Debra), Valerie Sachariat, and Robert Daniel (Angela); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery in Macon, NC. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm at Louisburg Baptist Church, 302 N. Main Street, Louisburg.
Joe enjoyed the simple things in life, he was known as a wanderer who enjoyed exploring new places and appreciating the outdoors. He was knowledgeable of local history and where the best places were for this or that in his opinion. Joe had once lived in New Orleans and would travel back to the jazz festival.
