FRANKLNTON --The Rev. Rossie Cooper, 85, died Friday, Dec. 2.

He is survived by five daughters, Beatrice Guess of New Haven, CT, Ruth Masheila Cooper of Hamden, CT, Vanessa Speight (Terrence) of Nashville, Antoinette McCormick (Michael) of Raleigh, Tyeasha Cooper (Byron Wills) of Carrboro; one son, Rossie Cooper of Hamden, CT; three sisters, Ruth Dixon, Bell Davis and Pearl Davis; and one brother, John Davis, all of New Haven, CT; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 16, at 11 a.m. from the Living Word Family Church in Wake Forest with Pastor Micah Caronna officiating.

Viewing will be Friday, from 10-11 a.m. at Living Word Family Church in Wake Forest.
