YOUNGSVILLE, NC--Robert Henry Holmes, 82, of Youngsville died at home surrounded by his family on Monday morning, December 26, 2022.
He was born in Wake County son of the late Katie Mae Wall Holmes and Henry Haywood Holmes.
Funeral Services were held 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Robert is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janie Cash Holmes; daughters, Tammy Wooten and husband Mike of Wendell and Janice Mitchell of Youngsville; his son, Allen Holmes and wife Jill of Youngsville, five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Milton Holmes and wife Ann of Youngsville.
