Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Wilbert Long, age 85, who died on Sunday, January 15, 2023, will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2023 at from the Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Castalia with Pastor Sylvester White officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Rock Church Cemetery.

Born January 11, 1938, he is survived by three daughters, Christine Edgerton (Donnie) of Louisburg, NC, Peggy Kamara (Robert) of Durham, NC, Carolyn Mae Stallings (Jeffrey) of Louisburg, NC; four sons, Wilburt Earl Long of Wilson, NC, Arthur Glen Long and Bennie Junior Long (Barbara), both of Louisburg, NC, Charlie Long (Tammy) of the home; two sisters, Marie Epps of Louisburg, NC, Ernestine Massenburg (James) of Mebane, NC; one brother, Glenn Roger Long of Louisburg, NC; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Friday from 5 -6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
