Nashville, NC--Funeral services for Annie Lee Cooper Applewhite, age 88, who died on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, October 7, from the Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville with Rev. Al Louis Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
Born Oct. 23, 1934, she is survived by her husband, William H. Applewhite of the home; two daughters, Sandra Battle (Chester) of Wilson, NC, Cynthia Applewhite of the home; one son, Gregory Applewhite (Donna) of Castalia, NC; three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church.
