BUNN, NC--Stephen Craig Mullen went to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Born in Franklin County, North Carolina on December 19, 1950, he was preceded in death by his father Melvin C. Mullen and his mother Doris Pearce Mullen Raper.

Craig grew up in Bunn, NC and after high school began his career in the United States Air Force, serving most of his tour in Europe. After receiving an honorable discharge, he returned to Raleigh, NC to attend NC State University, where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice. He eventually moved to Rocky Mount, NC and began a long career in landscaping and maintenance. Following his retirement, he moved back to Bunn, NC, where he lived with his wife Vickie.

Craig enjoyed many outdoor activities such as golf, gardening, motorcycle riding, and traveling with Vickie in their RV. He loved Pine Ridge Baptist Church and his church family. He also loved his country and was deeply patriotic.

He is survived by his wife Vickie Woodard Mullen; his daughter Dominee Ehrhardt and husband Dan; son Kai Mullen and wife Amanda; two grandchildren, Blair and Lucy; and his two brothers, Jack Mullen and wife Judy, and Charles Mullen and wife Pam.

A service celebrating Craig's life will be held at Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Pine Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund, 874 Pine Ridge Road, Zebulon, NC 27597.
