Louisburg, NC--Funeral services for Joyce "Meak" Alston, age 65, who died on Friday, May 17, 2024, will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, May 26, from the Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Castalia with Rev. Anthony Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Church Cemetery.
Born Sept. 11, 1958, she is survived by three sisters, Daphine Spencer of Edison, NJ, Betty Jones (Randy) of McLeansville, NC, Joanna Bostic of Greensboro, NC; three brothers, James Alston (Daphine) of Raleigh, NC, Robert Alston of Henderson, NC and Bobby Alston (Wanda) of Louisburg, NC.
The family will receive friends 5-6 p.m., Saturday, May 25 at Richardson Funeral Home.
